some time with much earnestness: "Never theless I am continually with thee; thou hast holden me by my right hand. Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterwards receive me to glory. but thee? and there desire beside thee. Whom have I in heaven is none upon earth that I My flesh and My flesh and my heart faileth; but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever." (Psalm lxxiii. 23—26.) How near he then was to the immediate vision of the strength of his heart, whom he now seeth face to face! How soon to enter into the enjoyment of his everlasting portion! 66 To you, beloved, who are in the Lord, his word and his works speak encouraging and solemn things. Wherefore, gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.” (1 Pet. i. 13.) In the mean time be admonished, and take comfort in the admonition, "Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord, from henceforth; yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours, and their works do follow them."
