6 Mas Christo como Hijo en su propia casa, que somos nosotros, si nos mantenemos firmes en la confianza, y en el gozo de la esperanza hásta el fin. 7 Por lo cual, como dice el Espíritu Santo, si oyereis hoy su voz. 8 No endurezcais vuestros corazones, como en la irritacion, en el dia de la tentacion en el desierto. 9 En donde me tentaron vuestros padres, me probaron, y vieron mis obras por espacio de cuarenta años. 10 Por esto me indigné con esta generacion, y dige: siempre estos yerran en su corazon, y ni han conocido mis caminos. 11 Y así juréles en mi ira: ellos no entrarán en mi reposo. 12 Guardad hermanos, que no haya en alguno de vosotros corazon malo de incredulidad, para apartarse del Dios vivo. 13 Antes amonestaos los unos á los otros todos los dias, mientras que se llama hoy, paraque ninguno de vosotros sea endurecido por engaño del pecado. 14 Porque somos hechos participes de Christo, si retenemos firmes el principio de nuestra confianza hásta el fin. 15 Mientras que se dice: si oyereis hoy su voz, no endurezcais vuestros corazones como en la provocacion. 16 Porque algunos cuando la hubieron oido, le irritaron: pero no todos los que salieron de Egipto por Moysés. 17 Mas¿con quiénes estuvó indignado por espacio de cuarenta años? ¿No fué con aquellos que pecaron, cuyos cuerpos cayeron en el desierto? 18 ¿Y á quiénes juró que no entrarían en su reposo, sino á aquellos que no creyeron? 19 Y vemos que no pudieron entrar por causa de la incredulidad. 6 But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end. 7 Wherefore as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice, 8 Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness: 9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years. 10 Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do always err in their heart; and they have not known my ways. 11 So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest. 12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of | unbelief, in departing from the living God. 13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. 14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast unto the end; 15 While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation. 16 For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses. 17 But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcasses fell in the wilderness? 18 And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not? 19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief. for that he himself also is compassed with infirmity. 3 And by reason hereof he ought, as for the people, so also for himself, to offer for sins. 4 And no man taketh this honour unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron. 5 So also Christ glorified not himself to be made a high priest; para aquellos que por razon del uso tienen sus sentidos egercitados, para discernir así el bien como el mal. THERE CHAPTER VI.
