20 Pues si sois muertos con Christo á los rudimentos del mundo ¿porqué aun, como si vivieseis en el mundo, estais sugetos á decretos? 21 (No toqueis, no gusteis, no manoseis, 22 Las cuales cosas todas perecen con el uso) siguiendo mandamientos y doctrinas de hombres. 23 Las cuales cosas á la verdad tienen apariencia de sabiduría en culto voluntario, y humildad, y en negligencia del cuerpo, no en honra alguna para satisfaccion de la carne. CAPITULO III. habeis pues resucitado con arriba, en donde está Christo sentado á la diestra de Dios. 2 Poned vuestro afecto en las cosas de arriba, no en las de la tierra. 3 Porque muertos estais, y vuestra vida está escondida con Christo en Dios. 4 Cuando apareciere Christo que es nuestra vida, entonces tambien apareceréis vosotros con él en gloria 5 Mortificad pues vuestros miembros que estan sobre la tierra: fornicacion, impureza, apetitos desordenados, lascivia, y codicia, que es idolatria. 6 Por las cuales cosas viene la ira de Dios sobre los hijos de la desobediencia. 7 En las cuales tambien vosotros andabais en otro tiempo viviendo en ellas. 8 Mas ahora dejad tambien vosotros todas estas cosas, ira, enojo, malicia, blasfemia, palabras torpes de vuestra boca. 9 No mintais los unos á los otros; despojandoos del hombre viejo con sus hechos, 10 Y vistiendoos el nuevo, que es renovado en el conocimiento segun la imagen de aquel que le crió. 20 Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances, 21 (Touch not, taste not, handle not; 22 Which all are to perish with the using,) after the commandments and doctrines of men? 23 Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will-worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh. CHAPTER III. CAPITULO IV. con vuestros siervos lo que es justo y equitativo, estando ciertos que vosotros tambien teneis Señor en el cielo. 2 Perseverad en oracion, velando en ella con hacimiento de gracias. 3 Orando juntamente tambien por nosotros, paraque Dios nos abra la puerta de la palabra para anunciar el misterio de Christo, por el cual tambien yo estoy preso. SENORES, haced 4 Paraque yo lo pueda manifestar como debo hablar. 5 Andad con sabiduría para con aquellos que estan fuera; redimiendo el tiempo. 6 Sea vuestro hablar siempre con gracia, sazonado con sal, paraque sepais como habeis de responder á cada uno. 7 Mi hermano Tichico muy amado y fiel ministro y consiervo en el Señor, os hará saber el estado de mis negocios. 8 El cual os he enviado con este designio, paraque sepa el estado vuestro, y consuele vuestros cora zones. 9 Con Onesimo un amado y fiel hermano, que es de vosotros: ellos os informarán de todas las cosas que aquí se hacen. 10 Os saluda Aristarco mi compañero en la prision, y Marco sobrino de Barnabás, acerca del cual habeis recibido órdenes: si viniere á vosotros, recibidle. 11 Y Jesus que es llamado Justo, los cuales son de la circuncision: 24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance for ye serve the Lord Christ. 25 But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons. CHAPTER IV. vants that which is just and equal; knowing that ye also have a Master in heaven. 2 Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving; 3 Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds: 4 That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak. 5 Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. 6 Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man. 7 All my state shall Tychicus declare unto you, who is a beloved brother, and a faithful minister and fellow servant in the Lord : 8 Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that he might know your estate, and comfort your hearts; 9 With Onesimus, a faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you. CAPITULO II. PORQUE hermanos, vosotros mismos sabeis, que nuestra entrada á vosotros no fué vana. 2 Antes despues que hubimos padecido, y sido afrentados, como sabeis, en Philipos, fuímos osados en Dios nuestro, para anunciaros el Evangelio de Dios en medio de muchos obstáculos. 3 Porque nuestra exortacion no fué de error, ni de inmundicia; ni por engaño. 4 Sino que así como fuímos aprobados de Dios paraque se nos con 7 So that ye were ensamples to all that believe in Macedonia and Achaia. 8 For from you sounded out the word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith to God-ward is spread abroad; so that we need not to speak any thing. |
