עמוד 58 - We bless thee for our creation, preservation, and all the blessings of this life ; but above all, for thine inestimable love in the redemption of the world by our Lord Jesus Christ ; for the means of grace, and for the hope of glory.
עמוד 63 - Thou sittest at the right hand of God in the glory of the Father. We believe that thou shalt come to be our Judge. We therefore pray thee help thy servants whom thou hast redeemed with thy precious blood.
עמוד 63 - May I reach That purest heaven, be to other souls The cup of strength in some great agony, Enkindle generous ardor, feed pure love, Beget the smiles that have no cruelty — Be the sweet presence of a good diffused, And in diffusion ever more intense. So shall I join the choir invisible Whose music is the gladness of the world.
עמוד 55 - For as soon as the wind goeth over it, it is gone ; and the place thereof shall know it no more.
עמוד 64 - The Lord bless you and keep you. The Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you. The Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace, both now and evermore.
עמוד 56 - Be ye sure that the Lord he is God : it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves ; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. O go your way into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise : be thankful unto him, and speak good of his Name. For the Lord is gracious, his mercy is everlasting : and his truth endureth from generation to generation.
עמוד 55 - Praise the Lord, O my soul, * and forget not all his benefits: 3 Who forgiveth all thy sin, * and healeth all thine infirmities; 4 Who saveth thy life from destruction, * and crowneth thee with mercy and loving-kindness; 5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things, * making thee young and lusty as an eagle.
עמוד 53 - Who from our mother's arms Hath blessed us on our way With countless gifts of love, And still is ours to-day. 2 O may this bounteous God Through all our life be near us, With ever joyful hearts And blessed peace to cheer us ; And keep us in His grace, And guide us when perplexed, And free us from all ills In this world and the next.
עמוד 57 - Born of the Virgin Mary, Suffered under Pontius Pilate, Was crucified, dead, and buried, He descended into hell ; The third day he rose again from the dead, He ascended into heaven, And sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty ; From thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost ; The holy Catholick Church ; The Communion of Saints ; The Forgiveness of sins ; the Resurrection of the body, And the life everlasting. Amen.
עמוד 58 - And we beseech Thee, give us that due sense of all Thy mercies, that our hearts may be unfeignedly thankful, and that we may show forth Thy praise, not only with our lips, but in our lives ; by giving up ourselves to Thy service, and by walking before Thee in holiness and righteousness all our days...
