WE may have a creed of unquestioned soundness, and know how to defend it by arguments that no man can impeach; but if we lack the "sweetness and light" that are born of pure trust in God and an intimacy with Him, our influence as Christians will be poor and small. Let us have a care that our zeal for Paul and Apollos and Cephas is not greater than our zeal for Christ, that to strengthen our party is not a stronger motive than to save a soul.
