And it came to pass, that as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennes2 aret; and saw two ships standing by the lake; but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were wash3 ing their nets. And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon's, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land; and he sat down, and taught the people out of the 4 ship. Now, when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon; Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. 5 And Simon, answering, said unto him; Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing; nevertheless, at thy word I will let down 6 the net. And when they had this done, they enclosed 10 11 a great multitude of fishes; 7 and their net brake. And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come, and help them; and they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began 8 to sink. When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying; Depart from me, for I am a sin9 ful man, O Lord. For he` was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken; and so was also James and John the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon; Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men. And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and followed him. MARK I. 36 ed him, saying; Hold thy peace, and come out of him. 26 And when the unclean spirit had torn him, and cried with a loud voice, he came out 27 of him. And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying; What thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority 37 commandeth he even the unclean spirits, and they 28 do obey him. And immediately his fame spread abroad throughout all the region round about Galilee. LUKE IV. come out of him. And when the devil had thrown him in the midst, he came out of him, and hurt him not. And they were all amazed; and spake among themselves, saying; What a word is this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out. And the fame of him went. out into every place of the country round about. LUKE IV. 38 And he arose out of the synagogue, and entered into Simon's house; and Simon's wife's mother was taken with a great fever; and they be39 sought him for her. And he 40 stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her. And immediately she arose and ministered unto them. Now, when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers diseases, brought them unto him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed 41 them. And devils also came out of many, crying out, and saying; Thou art the Son of God. And he, rebuking them, suffered them not to speak, for they knew that 42 he was Christ. And devils to speak because they 35 knew him. And in the and those 37 gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease 24 among the people. And his fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought unto him all sick people, that were 36 taken with divers diseases and torments, which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatic, and those that had the palsy; and he healed. 25 them.
