AT THE CONSECRATION OF THE
CHALICE.

In like manner Jesus took the chalice in his holy hands, and giving thanks to his Father, blessed it and gave it to his disciples, saying, "Take and drink ye all of this, for THIS IS THE CHALICE OF MY BLOOD, of the New and eternal Testament, the mystery of faith, which shall be shed for you and for many unto the remission of sins."

Blood of Jesus, I adore thee.

O sacred Blood that flowed from the wounds of my Lord on the Cross, I adore and I love thee.

Most adorable Blood of Jesus, poured out to wash away the sins of the world, cleanse my heart and my soul from every stain of sin..

AFTER THE ELEVATION.

And now, O Lord, with grateful hearts, and in memory of the Passion, Death, Resurrection, and Ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ, we offer to thy Sovereign Majesty the Body which he broke and the Blood which he shed to give thee thanks for this pure sacrifice, this holy sacrifice which thou didst will to give us for our comfort and happiness, and for all the gifts and graces thou hast bestowed upon us.

We humbly beseech thee, most merciful God, that we, and all those who partake of this sacrifice, and of the sacrament of the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, may be filled with every heavenly grace and blessing in this life, and that they may be made sharers in thy glory in the life to come: through the same Christ, our Lord. Amen.
