HYMN TO THE BLESSED SACRAMENT.

JESUS

ESUS! my Lord, my God, my all!
How can I love thee as I ought?
And how revere this wondrous gift,
So far surpassing hope or thought?

Sweet Sacrament! we thee adore!
Oh, make us love thee more and more!
Had I but Mary's sinless heart

To love thee with, my dearest King, Oh, with what bursts of fervent praise Thy goodness, Jesus, would I sing.

Sweet Sacrament! we thee adore! Oh, make us love thee more and more! Oh, see: within a creature's hand The vast Creator deigns to be, Reposing infant-like, as though

On Joseph's arm, or Mary's knee.

Sweet Sacrament! we thee adore!
Oh, make us love thee more and more!

Thy Body, Soul, and Godhead all!

Oh, mystery of love divine!

I cannot compass all I have;

For all thou hast and art are mine!

Sweet Sacrament! we thee adore!

Oh, make us love thee more and more!

O Sacrament most holy! O Sacrament divine!

All praise and all thanksgiving be every moment thine.

One hundred days indulgence each time. Plenary once a month if said daily.

Spiritual Communion, and Visits to the Blessed Sacrament.

You make a Spiritual Communion when you tell Jesus that you believe He is present in the Blessed Sacrament, and desire that He would give Himself to you, for which you may say this prayer:

I

BELIEVE in thee, O my Jesus, present in the most holy Sacrament of the Altar: I love thee above all things; and I desire to receive thee into my soul. Since I cannot now receive thee sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace thee and I unite myself to thee, as if thou wast already there. Oh, permit me not ever to be separated from thee.-St. Liguori.

Say this prayer when you go into a church to visit the Blessed Sacrament, also at home, at work, or anywhere.

DIVINE PRAISES.

Pius VII. granted an Indulgence of one year to all who recite the following.

Blessed be God.

Blessed be His Holy Name. Blessed be Jesus Christ, true God and true Man.

Blessed be the Name of Jesus. Blessed be Jesus in the most holy Sacrament of the Altar.
