For ever on our tongues:

In honour of the son, Who bought your souls from hell and death,
By off'ring up his own. 3. Give to the spirit praise
Of an immortal strain, Whose light, and pow'r and grace conveys
Salvation down to men. 4. While God the comforter
Reveals our pardon'd sin,
The same record within. 5. To the great one in Three,
That seal this grace in heav'n, The Father, Son, and Spirit, be
Eternal glory giv'n.

Th'angelic army sings. 4. To thee, by mystic pow'rs on high
Were humble praises given, When John beheld with favour'd eye,

In co-eternal Three.

O Spirit of might, of joy, and of love, Who guidest us right to mansions of love, Whose hallowed graces for heaven prepare; We pay thee our praises 'till glorify'd there. 4.
