GRACE.

Ps. xvii, 4, 5. Concerning the works of men, by the word of thy lips I have kept me from the paths of the destroyer. Hold up my goings in thy paths, that my footsteps slip not.

Ps. xix, 11-13. Moreover, by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.

Who can understand

his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults. Keep back thy servant also from presumptnous sins; let them not have dominion ever me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.
