16 And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth ; and the earth was reaped.

17 And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.

18 And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, • Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the yine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.

19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great Pwinepress of the wrath of God.

the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.

AND I saw * another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, b'seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.

2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass ® mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and 'over his image, and over his

6 And the seven angels came out of the temple, ' having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles. fearful in praises, doing wonders? The people shall hear, and be afraid. Then the dukes of Edom shall be amazed ; the mighty men of Moab, trembling shall take hold upon them; all the inhabitants of Canaan shall melt away. Fear and dread shall fall upon them; by the greatness of thine arm they shall be as still as a stone. JER. X. 7: Who would not fear thee, O King of nations ? for to thee doth it appertain.

And the curious girdle of the ephod, which is upon it, shall be of the same, according to the work thereof. 7 And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who > liveth for ever and

ever.

8 And the 'temple was filled with smoke " from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.

CHAP. XVI. 2 The angels pour out their vials full of wrath : 6 the plugues that follow thereupon : 15 Christ cometh as a thief: blessed are they that watch.

AND I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.

"Rev. iv. 6: In the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.

Isa. vi. 4: The posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.
