3 And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.
4 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats : and upon the seats I saw four and twenty 6 elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads i crowns of gold.

appeared over them as it were a sapphire stone, as the appearance of the likeness of a throne. Dan. vii. 9: I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool : his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.

6 And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal : and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were 'four beasts? full of eyes before P and behind.

8 And the four beasts had each of them r six wings about him ; and they were full of eyes * within :3 and they rest not * day and night, say

for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, and like the appearance of lamps : it went up and down among the living creatures, and the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lighning. 7 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.
8 And when he had taken the book, 'the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them m harps, and golden vials 2 full of odours, 3 " which are the prayers of saints.
9 And they 'sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the
