21 And this commandment have we from him,13 That he who loveth God love his brother also.

CHAP. V.

1 He that loveth God loveth his children, and keepeth his commandments: 3 which to the faithful are light, and not grievous : 9 Jesus is the Son of God, able to save us, 14 and to hear our prayers, which we make for ourselves, and for others.

5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? 6 This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; 'not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness,2 because the Spirit is truth.
