D. 1783, the honorable Samuel Huntington, the honorable Oliver Ellsworth, the honorable Oliver Wolcott, the ho. norable Benjamin Huntington, Je. dediah Strong, esquire, Stephen Mix Mitchell, esquire, and the ho. norable Richard Law, were elected and publicly declared to be delegates to represent that state in the Congress of the United States, according to
