Now freed, pursues the heav'nly plains,
Singing her last, her parting strains.
Hallelujah.

While hence I wing the prize to win,
Nor fear the sad returns of sin,
Longing with Christ my Lord to dwell,
Rather than in my earthly cell;
Rejoice, my Theron, since by thee
first was taught sweet liberty.
Hallelujah.

Soon as my Saviour's voice shall cheer
With welcome sounds my longing ear,
While praising God I'll bless the day
Thy heav'nly notes improv'd my lay,
When in my prison, taught by thee,
I sung, and sigh'd, for liberty.
Hallelujah.

Waste not on me an useless care,
That kind concern let sinners share;
I know no sorrow, fear no ill,

But those poor souls ten thousands feel;
Sing, ever sing, and may they see,
And pant for heav'nly liberty.

Hallelujah.

578.

THOU Source of bliss, thou God of love,
Inspirer of the heav'nly choirs;

Inspire my soul to sing thy praise,
To imitate the choirs above:
Help me to sing the love of God,
To sing thy love thro' endless days.
Hallelujah.

The Father's love to sinful man,
With all the riches of his grace,
The angels try to comprehend,
In vain the angels try to scan:
Its height, its depth, its breadth, its length,
Knows no beginning, nof has end.
Hallelujah.

How was the Son's true love display'd,
Who gave himself a sacrifice,

With men to live, for man to die,

And made his mansion with the dead!
Why, Lord, this love to sinful worms?
This love to me, dear Saviour, why?
Hallelujah.

The Spirit's love let angels sing,
Who deigns to teach, who deigns to bless,
Who makes lost sinners his abode,
And frees from sin's destructive sting:

Thy influence draws my willing feet
To run the road that leads to God.
Hallelujah.

boundless love! be this my theme While all the springs of comfort fail, While wither'd gourds their heads shall droop, And light thro' darkness cease to beam: The rainbow on dark clouds doth shine, The God of love sustains my hope! Hallelujah.

The God of love! transporting name!
I'll sing it in this darken'd hour,
I'll sing it all the day along,
To-day as yesterday the same:
Oh! may I sing it more and more:
Thy love shall be my ceaseless song.
Hallelujah.

O love divine! to worms like me!
That heals my wounds, and sooths my woes;
Thy love, my God, the pledge has giv'n
That I shall soon thy glory see:

Shall see thy face, and sing thy love
Thro' all the endless days of heav'n.
Hallelujah.

FINIS.

POINTING OUT THE FIRST LINE OF EACH
PSALM OR HYMN.

ALL people that on earth do dwell

Arise, my soul, with wonder see.....

All ye that pass by....

Awake, O sword, the Father cries....
Alas! and did my Saviour bleed..
Awake our drowsy souls....
A fulness resides...

All hail the pow'r of Jesu's name..
Awake, my soul, in joyful lays.....
Awake my heart, awake my tongue..
Almighty Father, gracious Lord...
Adam, our father and our head...
Arise, my tend'rest thoughts, arise....
Approach, my soul, the mercy seat...
A charge to keep I have..

A debtor to mercy alone...

Away my unbelieving fear...

Amazing grace, how sweet the sound..

And must I part with all I have....
Awake our souls, away our fears..

Awake and sing the

song...

And will the great eternal God...
And will the Lord thus condescend..

As the sun's enliv'ning eye.............
