All souls are his.

The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.

With God all things are possible.

HIS WISDOM AND KNOWLEDGE.

O Lord, how manifold are thy works; in wisdom hast thou made them all.

Known unto God are all his works, from the beginning of the world.

One day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

He hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a .measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance.

The Lord looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men. From the place of his habitation, he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth. He fashioneth their hearts alike; he considereth all their works.

His eyes are upon the ways of man, and he seeth all his goings.

The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.

The ways of a man are before the eyes of the Lord, and he pondereth all his goings.

Thine eyes are open upon all the ways of the sons of men, to give to every one according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.

Thou, even thou only, knowest the hearts of all the children of men.

The Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man. looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.

The word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit; and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight; but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor ?

HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS AND MORAL GOV

ERNMENT.

There is none good but one,- that is, God. God is no respecter of persons, but, in every nation, he that feareth him and worketh righteousness is accepted with him.

Good and upright is the Lord.

The word of the Lord is right, and all his works are done in truth.

eousness and judgment.

He loveth right

Verily there is a reward for the righteous; verily he is a God that judgeth.

The ways of the Lord are right, and the just shall walk in them; but the transgressors

shall fall therein.

The way of the wicked is an abomination unto the Lord; but he loveth him that followeth after righteousness.

If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me.

Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity.

Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?

The Lord God is merciful and gracious,

long-suffering and abundant in goodness and truth, keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and who will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.

God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent.

The counsel of the Lord standeth forever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations. There is none holy as the Lord.

Behold God will not cast away a perfect man, neither will he help the evil-doers.

Unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: thou renderest to every man according to his work.

The work of a man shall he render unto him, and cause every man to find according to his ways; yea, surely God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert judg

ment.

He that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done; and there is no respect of persons.

He will render to every man according to his deeds to them who by patient continu

ance in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life; but unto them. that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath; tribulation and anguish upon every soul of man that doeth evil; but glory, honor, and peace to every man that worketh good; for there is no respect of persons with God.

HIS LOVE.

The Lord is good to all, and his tender mercies are over all his works.

The earth is full of the goodness of the Lord.

Thou art good and doest good.

Thou preservest man and beast.

Thou openest thy hand and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.

It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

How excellent is thy loving-kindness, O God! therefore the children' of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.
