GOOD COMPANY INTRODUCED,

N order to make clear the why and wherefore of the advent of this Magazine, I cannot do better than transcribe the following note from its predecessor, the Whitefield Magazine :

"I want to do my share in trying to keep unhealthy literature out of doors, and to provide instead something which is not only better worth the having, but which shall commend itself as being better worth the buying.

"I want to do all the good I can, and over as wide as an area I can
