Zion's Glory will foon fpread it felf over all the World into Countries, Nations, and Kingdoms, which are remote in reipect of Place; they fhall hear, and be so taken with that wonderful Glory, that, like the Queen of Sheba, they fhall come from the uttermoft Parts of the Earth, to join themselves with, and to be incorporated into the Privileges of that glorious City. By the Daughters being nurfed at their Sides, does refpect the great Love and tender Care the Converted Jews will have to the Converted Gentiles. They fhall not have those difdainful Thoughts as they ufed to have of them: Neither will they be fo lifted up with their Glory, as to exalt themfelves above others. No, but they fhall willingly embrace all those who have embraced Jefus Chrift; and account them with themselves but as one People in the Lord. This is fignified by their Daughters being nurfed at their Sides; it is fpoke by way of Allufion, concerning tender Mothers, or careful Nurfes," that dandle the Child upon the Lap or carry them at their Sides; to fhew how lovingly the Jews fhall receive the Gentiles, and carefully look after them in that Day. Then it is more peculiarly that the People of God fhall dwell alone, in the full Enjoyment of all good things, and fhall not be reckoned among the reft of the Unconverted Nations. Num. xxiii. 9.

Verfe 5. Then thou shalt fee and flow together, and thine Heart hall fear and be enlarged, because the Abundance of the Sea fhall be converted unto thee, the Forces of the Gentiles fhall come unto thee.

The Glory which in this Prophecy is promised unto Zion, will at this time be fo visible and confpicuous unto all Beholders, as to caufe a Multitude to flow together into a mutual Embracement of each other in Love. Then fhall their Hearts be filled with a holy reverential Fear; and not only fo, but they shall be enlarged with a Heart full of Love to God, to Chrift, and the Spirit; yea with Defires of Love to one another and not only with 'Defires, but with a fatisfactory Return of Love in their own Bofoms. Now the Reason that is here given why there should be fuch Enlargements and flowing in of Converts at this time, is because the. abundance of the Sea fhall be converted unto thee: That is, firft to Chrift, and then to the Church (unto whom thefe Words are fpoke) by being added to them, and joined with them. By the abundance of the Sea may be understood those Islands which are furrounded by the Seas, or thofe Mariners whose Living is upon the Sea; to fhew how powerful and efficacious the Grace of God, will be in that Day, by bowing and converting of thefe wicked Perfons unto Jefus Chrift. Mariners or Seamen are known to be fome of the moft Wicked of all People living under the whole Heaven. Well! A Multitude of thefe fhall be converted unto the Lord, and joined to the Church of God. By the Forces of the Gentiles I understand the Multitude, Strength, Wealth,

Verfe 8. Who are thefe that fly as a Cloud, and as Doves to their Windows.

!

In these Words we have a Queftion asked, Who these are that fly as a Cloud &c. This Question will be asked, I conceive, by the converted Jews, in the Day or Time of their Glory, as being filled with Wonder at the wonderful Flocking and Gathering in of Converts unto Chrift out of the Gentile Nations that will continually be flocking in unto them from all or moft Parts and Places of the World. Here are two things contained in the Queftion : First, Who are thefe that fly as a Cloud? Secondly, And as Doves to their Windows? By their flying as a Cloud, I do conceive does refpect their Speedinefs, Swiftnefs, and Celerity in coming. This is further fignify'd by their coming upon swift Beafts. Their Chariot-wheels will not then draw heavy, but they will make haft and not delay: There will be Expedition made ufe of by them in their Com ing, and therefore are faid to fly as a Cloud. Sccondly, They fhall come as Doves to their Windows. This refpects the manner how they fhall come, and fhews not only their Swiftnefs, but the Innumerablenefs of thofe that fhall come: For then they will flock and come in, a glorious Multitude of them all at once: As Doves, when they return home, do not come one at a time, or one after an other, but their ufual way is to fly and fleck in a Drove, or a Multitude of them together; so will the Flocking in of Converts unto Jefus Chrift be in Nn

and Riches of the Gentiles to be meant. These hall come unto thee, or be brought unto the Saints: Not against their Wills (as afore) but they fhall willingly come, and offer up themfelves, with all their Riches and Treafures, to be the Lord's and his People's for ever, that they may honour the Lord Fefus Chrift with their Subftance and all that is near and dear unto them. Something of this was feen in the Primitive Church, when many fold their Poffefions, laid the Money down at the Apoftles Feet, and bad all things common. Acts ii. 44. which I look upon to be but a Figure or a Shadow of that Glory yet to come, and which fhall in that Day (upon theSpirit's pouring down)be brought intoZion.

Verfe 6. The Multitude of Camels fball cover thee: The Dromedaries of Midian and Epbab: All they from Sheba fhall come; they fhall bring Gold and In cenfe, and they shall fhew fortb the Praises of the Lord.

Thefe Words are a Continuation of the Lord's gracious Promife unto his People. Here fhall be a great Multitude of Camels and Dromedaries, which will be of ufe for to bring their Sons and Daughters from far, the one (as I conceive) to carry Weights and Burdens; the other for Celerity and Speedinefs. The Perfons that thefe fhall bring, or those that fhall come along with them, are faid to be Midian, Ephah, and Sheba. Midian we find to be a People defcended from Abraham by Keturah, as appears in Gen. xxv. 2. Ephab is the Pofterity of Midian by his eldeft Son, as you may fee in Gen.

4. Sheba is looked upon to defcend from, or
