31 Darum fürchtet euch nicht; ihr seyd besser denn viele Sperlinge. 32 Darum, wer mich bekennet vor den Menschen, den will Ich bekennen vor meinem himmlischen Vater. 33 Wer mich aber verleugnet vor den Menschen, den will Ich auch verleugnen vor meinem himmlischen Vater. 34 Ihr sollt nicht wähnen, daß ich gekommen sey, Frieden zu senden auf Erden. Ich bin nicht gekommen Frieden zu senden, sondern das Schwert. 35 Denn ich bin gekommen den Menschen zu erregen wider seinen Vater, und die Tochter wider ihre Mutter, und die Schnur wider ihre Schwieger. 36 Und des Menschen Feinde werden seine eigene Hausgenossen seyn. 37 Wer Vater oder Mutter mehr liebt, denn mich, der ist meiner nicht werth. Und wer Sohn oder Tochter mehr liebt, denn mich, der ist meiner nicht werth. 38 Und wer nicht sein Kreuz auf sich nimmt, und folget mir nach, der ist meiner nicht werth. 31 Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows. 32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. 33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in hea ven. 34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth; I came not to send peace, but a sword. 35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. 36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household. 37 He that loveth father or mother more than me, is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me, is not worthy of me. 38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. 39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake, shall find it. 40 He that receiveth you, receiveth me; and he that receiveth me, receiveth him that sent me. 39 Wer sein Leben findet, der wird es verlieren; und wer sein Leben verliert um meinet willen, der wird es finden. 40 Wer euch aufnimmt, der nimmt mich auf; und wer mich aufnimmt, der nimmt den auf, der mich gesandt hat. 41 Wer einen Propheten aufnimmt 41 He that receiveth a prophet in eines Propheten Namen, der wird in the name of a prophet, shall reeines Propheten Lohn empfangen. Und die Weisheit muß sich rechtfertigen lassen von ihren Kindern. 20 Da fing er an die Städte zu schelten, in welchen am meisten seiner Thaten geschehen waren, und hatten sich doch nicht gebessert: 21 Wehe dir, Chorazin, wehe dir, Bethsaida! wären solche Thaten zu Thro und Sidon geschehen, als beh euch geschehen sind; sie hätten vor Zeiten im Sack und in der Asche Buße gethan. 22 Doch ich sage euch: Es wird Thro und Sidon erträglicher ergehen am jüngsten Gerichte, denn euch. 15 He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. 16 But whereunto shall I liken this generation? It is like unto children sitting in the markets, and calling unto their fellows, 17 And saying, We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned unto you, and ye have not lamented. 18 For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, He hath a devil. 19 The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold, a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children. 20 Then began he to upbraid the cities wherein most of his mighty works were done, because they repented not. 21 Wo unto thee, Chorazin! wo unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works which were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. 22 But I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment, than for you. 23 And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day. 24 But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom, in the day of judgment than for thee. 25 At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. 26 Even so, Father, for so it seem ed good in thy sight. 27 Alle Dinge sind mir übergeben von meinem Vater. Darum mag man wohl am Sabbath Gutes thun. 13 Da sprach er zu dem Menschen: Strecke deine Hand aus. Und er streckte sie aus; und sie ward ihm wieder gefund, gleichwie die andere. 14 Da gingen die Pharisäer hinaus, und hielten einen Rath über ihn, wie sie ihn umbrächten. 15 Aber da Jesus das erfuhr, wich er von dannen. Und ihm folgete viel Volks nach, und er heilete sie alle, 16 Und bedrohete sie, daß sie ihn nicht meldeten; 17 Auf daß erfüllet würde, das gefagt ist durch den Propheten Jesaia, der da spricht: 18 Siehe, das ist mein Knecht, den ich erwählet habe, und mein Liebster, an dem meine Scele Wohlgefallen hat; ich will meinen Geist auf ihu legen, und er soll den Heiden das Gericht verfündigen. 19 Er wird nicht zanken noch schreyen, und man wird sein Geschreh nicht hören auf den Gassen; 20 Das zerstoßene Rohr wird er nicht zerbrechen, und das glimmende Tocht wird er nicht auslöschen, bis daß er ausführe das Gericht zum Siege; 21 Und die Heiden werden auf seinen Namen hoffen. 10 And behold, there was a man which had his hand withered. Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath-days. 13 Then saith he to the man, Stretch forth thine hand.
