21 It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.
22 And he went through the cities and willages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem.
23 Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be sawed? Andhe Said unto them,
24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, i say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and_ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and heshall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:
26 Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, ஃ thou hast taught in our streets.
27 Buthe shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are, departfrom me, all ge workers of iniquity.
28 Thereshall be weeping and gnashing ofteeth, when yeshall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you gourselves thurst out.
29 And they Shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.
30 And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.
31 I The same day there came certain of the Pharisees, saying unto him, Get theeout, and depart hence: for Herod will kill thee,
32 Andhesaidunto them,Goye,and tellthatfox, IBehold l cast out devils, and I lo cures to day and to-morrow, and the third day shall be perfected. 33 Nevertheless, l must walk to day, and tomorrow, and the day following: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem. 34 0 Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the ::: and stonest them that are sent unto thee; low often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not! 35. Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily l say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

AND it came to pass, as he went into the house of one of the chief Pharisees to eat bread on the sabbath day, that they watched him. 2 And, behold, there was a certain man before him which had the dropsy. 3 And Jesus answering spake unto the lawyers and plarisees, saying, ls it lawful to heal on the sabbath day? 4 And they held their peace, And hetook him, and healed him, and let him go; 5 And answered them, saying, which of you shall have an ass or an ox tallenito a pit, and will not straightway pull him out on the sibbath day?
6 And they could notanswer him again to these things. _
7 | And heput forth a parable to those which were bidden, when he marked how they chose out the chief rooms; saying unto them,
8 When thou art bidden of any man to a wedding, sit not down in the highest room; lest a more iெable manianitheide of him;
9 And he that bade thee and him come and sa to thee, Give thisman place, and thou begin wit shame to take the lowest room.
10 But when thou art bidden, go and sit downin the lowest room ; that when he that bade the cometh, he may say unto the, Friend, go up higher : then shalt thou have worship in the presence of them that sit at meat with thee.
11 For whosoever exalteth himselfshall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.
12 Then said he also to him that baile him, When thou makest a dinner or a supper, call not thy friends, nor thy brethren, meither thy kinsmen, mன் th rich meighbours: lest they also bid thee again, and a recompence be made thee.
13 But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind:
14 And thou shalt be blessed ; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.
15 And when one of them that sat at meat with him heard these things, he Said unto him, IBlessed is he that shall eat bread in the kingdom of God.
16 Then Said he unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many :
17 And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready.
