This controverfy, I hope, will continue, either with Dr. Horfley, or fome other perfon. Nothing, however, (hall he want ing on my part to keep it up, fo long as any new light {hall appear to be thrown upon the quefiion in debate; and after this I intend to compo an entire work on this (ubjeé't only; sting, in as clear a light as I {hall be able, the evi dence of the above important truth (for fuch I cannot help confidering it) as it {hall then appear to me, with all the pro per authorities in the original languages, and leave it to make whatever imprefiion it may on the minds of others, having then done my ditty with refpeét to it.
