Becaufe the way thy laws to know

they enter not the trace. 156 Great are thy mercies, Lord, I grant, what tongue can them explain? According to thy judgments good, let me my life obtain.

157 Though many inen did'trouble me, and perfccute me fore:

Yet from thy laws I never fhrunk,
nor went afide therefore,
158 The great tranfgreflours I behold,
which is a grief to me:
Because they do not keep thy word,
nor ever feek to thee.

159 Behold, how I do love thy lawa
with a moit upright heart:
Then quicken me, O Lord, for thou
moit good and gracious art.

160 Thy word from the beginning lath been ever true and jut:

Thy righteous judgments ev'ry one always continue muit.

The Twenty firit Part. 164 Seven times a day I praife the Lord finging with heart and voice: Because thy righteous judgments do =greatly my heart rejoyce.

165 Great peace and reft fhall all fuch have as do thy ftatutes love:

No danger fhall their quiet ftate impair or once remove.

166 My only health and comfort, Lord, I look for at thy hand:

And therefore have I done those things
which thou didst me command.

167 Thy laws have been my exercise,
which my foul moft defir'd:
So much to them my love was bent,
that nought elfe I requir'd,
168 Thy ftatutes, and commandments
have kept with heart upright:
for all my doings and my ways
are prefent in thy fight.

The Twenty Second Part. T A u. 169 O Lord, let my complaint and cry before thy face appear:

And as thou haft me promife made
fo teach me thee to fear.
1700 let my fupplication, Lord,
have free access to thee:
nd let me be delivered
ss thou haft promised me.

171 Then shall my lips thy praises speak, after mott ample fort:

When thou thy statutes haft me taught, wherein tands my comfort.

172 My tongue fhail freely preach thy and evermore confefs, (word,.

Thy famous acts and noble laws are truth and righteoufiefs.

173 Stretch out thy hand I thee beseech, and fpeedily me fave:

For thy commandments to obferve chofen, O Lord, I have.

174 Of thee alone, Lord, I crave health,
for other I know none:

And in thy law to meditate
I do delight alone.

175 Grant me therefore long days to live
thy Name to magnific:

And of thy judgments wonderful,
let me the favour try.

176 For I was loft and went aftray
much like a wandring sheep.
O feek me, for I have not fail'd
thy ftatutes for to keep.

5 We will aflay and go into
