exercises; and that Drs. Hoge and Neill, and Mr. Fisk, be a committee to make arrangements for the occasion, and to designate persons to lead in the exercises.

A letter was received from the Board of Trust of the Synod of Ohio, informing the Assembly that they had formed themselves into a Missionary Society, and requesting permission to retain in their hands all the moneys collected within their bounds for missionary purposes, since the last Assembly. A copy of their constitution accompanied their letter. This communication was referred to a committee, to report thereon as soon as convenient.

The Presbyteries were called upon to state what they had done pursuant to the recommendation of the last Assembly, relative to the circulation of copies of the Confession of Faith; and it appeared that the following Presbyteries had attended to it: viz. Columbia, Onondaga, Geneva, Oneida, New York, Long Island, Jersey, New Brunswick, Philadelphia, New Castle, Baltimore, Northumberland, Huntingdon, Redstone, Lancaster, Grand River, Hanover, Washington, Orange, Fayettville, and Lexington.
