42 He saved others; himself he cannot save. Ifhe be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him, ૪૨ કે બીન્તને તેણે બચાએવા તે પેાતાને બચાવી નથી શક તો ને તે ઇશરાએલના રાજા છે તો હુમાં નરણથંભેયી ઉતરી આવે એટલે હુને તેણેના પર વીશવાશ કરીશે 43 He trusted in God; let him deliver him now, if he will have him: for he said, I am the Son of God. ૪૩ તેણે દેવ પર ભરોશો કીધો તે તે તેણેને ચાહેછે તો હમણાં તહુંને છેડાવે કેમકે તેણે કહુંછું કે હું દેવનો દીકરો ઊં 44 The thieves also, which were crucified with him, cast the same in his teeth. ૪૪ ને જે ચોરો તેણેની બ્લેડ ભરણુથંભે જડા હુતા તેઓએ પણ તેમજ તેહેની નીંટા કીધી 45 Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour. ૪૫ તાહારે બપોરથી તીન પાહાર સુધી આખા દેશ પર અંધકાર આ 46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? ૪૬ ને તીઘ્ન પોહેરને આશરે ઇચ્છુએ નાહાટ ઘાટ હાઁક મારતાં કહું કે એલી એલી લાના શાખાખથાની એટલે એ નાહારા દેવ એ નાહારા દેવ તેં મને કેન સુકો 47 Some of them that stood there, when they heard that, said, This man calleth for Elias. ૪૭ ને જે તહીં ઊભા રહ્યા તેનાંથી કેટલાએક શ ંભલીને કહું કે એલીનને તે હાઁક ભારેછે 48 And straightway one of them ran, and took a sponge, and filled it with vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink. ૪૮ ને તુરતજ તેનાંથી એક દોડીને તથા શપજ લઈને ન લીએ ભૐ ને લાકડી પર બાંધીને તેહેને સુંશાડું 49 The rest said, Let be, let us see whether Elias will come to save him. ૪૯ ૫ણ બીનએ કહ્યું કે રહેવાદો આપણે નેઇએ કે એલા હન છુડાવવાને આવશે કે નહીં 50 [[ Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. ૧૦ પછી ઈશુએ બીજી વાર નાઙેટ ઘાટ હાઁક નારીને પરાજી કાહાડો 51 And, beho!d, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; ૧૧ તાહારે જીઓ મંદીરના પરા ઊપરથી તલે શુધી પાટીને બે ભાગ થ ને પરથવી કાઁખી ને પથર ાટી ગઆ 52 And the graves were opened: and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, પર ને કબરો ઊઘાડાઇ ને ઊંધેલા પીતરોનાં ઘણાં શરીર તહેના ઊઠા પછી ઊઠાડા 53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. ૫૩ ને તેઓ કબરાનાંથી બાહાર આવીને પવીતર શેહેરમાં ગ ને ઘણાની પાશે પરગટ થ 54 Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God. ૫૪ તાારે જમાદારે તથા તેહેની શાથે જેટલા ઈશુની ચોકી કર તા હુતા તેઓએ ધરતીકંપારો તથા જે જે થી તે બ્લેઇને બહુ ખી હતાં કહું કે ખરાખર એ દેવના દીકરો હુતા 55 And many women were there beholding afar off, which followed Jesus from Galilee, ministering unto him: ૧૫ ને તાંહાં ઘણી ભાખંડી આર્યાંથી ખેતી હુતી જે ઈશ્યુની મેવા કરતી ગાલલીથી તેહેની પાછલ આવી હુતી 56 Among which was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the 1 her of James and Joses, and the mother of Zebedee's c ', 'dren. .૬ તેમાં નીઅન નાગદાલીન ને ઈઆકુબની તથા ઇ શીની મા નીઅન તથા જેબેદીના દીકરાઓની ના હતી 57 When the even was come, there came a rich man of Arimathea, named Joseph, who also himself was Jesus' disciple : ૫૭ ને શાંહીંજ પડા પર ઈઊશ? નાંને આવીનથાઈનો એક ઢોલતમંદ આએવા જે પોતે પણ ઈશુના શીશ હતા 58 He went to Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded the body to be delivered. ૫૮ તેણે પીલત પાસે જઈને ઇશ્યુનું સુરતું મારું તારે પીલતે સુરઢું શેંપાવવાનો હુકમ કીધો 59 And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth. ૧૪ પછી ઇઊપે સુરઢું લઈને શણુને ઊજલે લુઘડે તે બીટાણું 60 And laid it in his own new tomb, which he hadhewn out in the rock: and he rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulchre, and departed. ૬૦ ને પથરમાં ખોદાયેલી પોતાની નવી કબરનાં તેહેને સુકું ને એક નાહોટા પથર કબરના નોડ્ડા પર ગબડાવીને તે ચાલો ગ 61 And there was Mary Magdalene, and the other Mary, sitting over against the sepulchre. ૬૧ તારે નીઅન નાગદાસીન તથા બીજી નીઅન તાઁ કમ્મરની શાાઁનાં બેઠી હતી, 62 | Now the next day, that followed the day of the preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate. ૧૨ ને [પરવની] તઈડીના દાણાડાને બીજે દાહારું મુખી ઈઆ જકોએ તથા પ્રાીશીએ પીલત પાસે એકઠા થઈને 63 Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again ૬૩ કહું કે આ શાહેબ હનને શાંભળું કે તે ઠગ છવતાં કેહેતા હુંતો કે તરણું દાહાડા પછી હું ઊડીગ 64 Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night and steal him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the first. ૬૪ એમાટે તરણુ દાણાડા સુધી કબરની ચોકી કરવાનો હુકમ કર રખે તેણેના શીશ રાતરે આવીને તેણેને ચોરી લઈજશે ને લોકોને કે હેશે કે નીગએલામાંથી તે ઉઠોછે એટલે છેલી ઠગાઇ પેહેલી કરતાં ભુંડી થરો 65 Pilate said unto them, Ye have a watch : go your way, make it as sure as ye can. ૬૫ તાારે પીલતે તેઓને કહું કે ચોકીદારે તમારી પાશે છે તને ાઓ ને તમારી શમજ પરમાણે ચોકી સુકા 66 So they went, and made the sepulchre sure, sealing the stone, and setting a watch. ૬૬ પછી તેઓએ જઈને પથર પર નાહાર ફીધી ને ચાકીદારોથી કબરની ચોકી કરાવી CHAP. XXVIII. અઠાવીશનો અધો 1 In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. ૧ ને શાખત [ગ] પછી શાતાને પહેલે દાહાડે પોહો ફાટવા લાગા તાહારે નીઅન નાગદાલીન તથા બીજી નીઅન કબરને તેવા આબી laxmika 2 And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone fro!n the door, and sat upon it. ૨ ને જુઓ નહીંટા ધરતીકંપારો થઓ કાંજે પરભુનો દુત આકા શથી ઊતરો ને પાશે આવીને [કબરના] નાહો પરથી પથરને ગબ ડાવીને તે પર બેઠો : 3 His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow. ૩ ને તેહેવું દીરાનું વીજલી જેહેવું ને તેણેનું લશતર બરના જેહેવું ઊજવું હતું 4 And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men. ૪ ને તેણેને ધાકે ચોકીદારો ધ્રુઘ્ન ને ભરણુતાલ થઈગ 5 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. ૫ તાહારે દુતે જવાબ દેતાં તે ખાએડીઓને કહું તને ન ખીહો કનકે નરણથંને જડાએલા ઈશુને તને શાધોછા એ હું જાણુંઊં 6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come see the place where the Lord lay. ૬ તેમાં નથી કૈંનકે તેણે જૈન કહું હતું તેમ તે ઊંડો છે તને આવો નહીં પરભુ શુતા હતા તે જંગે જુએ 7 And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead : and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him : lo, I have told you. I ૭ ને બેહૂલી જઈને તેહુના શીશોને કહો કે નીગએલાઓ નાઁથી તે ઊઠોછું ને જુઓ તે તનથી અગાઊ ગાલલીનાં નએ છે તાંહાં તમે તેણેને દેખશો જુઓ ને તમને કહું 8 And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word. |
