BLESS'D are the saints who dwell in light, And walk with Jesus cloth'd in white; Safe landed on that peaceful shore, 2 Releas'd from sin, and toil, and grief, And reach their happy nest on high. 3. And now they range the heav'nly plains, 4 He cheers with his eternal smile, And taste of joys for ever sweet, 5 Ah! Lord, with tardy steps I creep, 38. "Behold what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us.!" 1 Jn. iii. 1. BLESSED are the sons of God, They are bought with Jesus' blood; 2 God did love them in his Son, 3 They are justified by grace, All their sins are wash'd away; 4 They produce the fruits of grace, 5 They have fellowship with God, 7's. 39. "Rivers of water in a dry place." Isa. xxxii. 2. L.M. BLESS'D Jesus! source of grace divine, What soul-refreshing streams are thine! O bring these healing waters nigh, 2 No traveller thro' desert lands, 'Midst scorching suns, and burning sands, More needs the current to obtain, Or to enjoy refreshing rain. 3 Our longing souls aloud would sing, Spring up, celestial fountain, spring; To a redundant river flow, And cheer this thirsty land below. 4 May this blest river near my side, 42.
