J.4.1827 A PRACTICAL EXPOSITION OF THE Apostles' Creed, IN THE FORM OF QUESTION AND ANSWER, DESIGNED FOR THE USE OF CHILDREN. BY A CLERGYMAN OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND. "Feed my Lambs.” John xxi. 15. Entered at Stationers' Hall. HEREFORD: PRINTED BY E. G. WRIGHT. 1827. PREFACE. THE Editor of this little Work has not aimed at novelty or originality; he has availed himself of the more popular and elaborate expositions of the Church Catechism: conscious that even the least attempt to set forth the glory of God in the good of mankind will not succeed without his blessing, he ventures to send it forth with an earnest wish and prayer, that as far as this endeavour may be found consistent with the Divine Word and Will, it may indeed be blessed to the very important purposes to which it aspires. |
