Cyberlaw: Law for Digital Spaces and Information Systems

John Bandler teaches cyberlaw, law for information systems, cybercrime, cybersecurity, and privacy to a variety of audiences, including undergraduate, graduate, law school, and professionals. He is a lawyer and consultant who helps organizations navigate today's issues which include organization governance, cybersecurity, cybercrime and privacy. He helps organizations comply with the increasing array of laws and regulations related to cybersecurity and privacy and also improve their efficiency in management of information assets. He has written many articles and four books, the most recent book is "Cyberlaw: Law for Digital Spaces and Information Systems". His first book is "Cybersecurity for the Home and Office" which helps readers of all professions and backgrounds learn about cybersecurity, privacy, and technology and implement important measures. His second book is "Cybercrime Investigations: The Comprehensive Resource for Everyone," to help better investigate cybercrime, tasks for both government and the private sector, his third book is "Policies and Procedures for Your Organization". Before joining the private sector, John served for thirteen years as a prosecutor in the Manhattan District Attorney's Office where he investigated and prosecuted all types of crime, including international cybercrime and virtual currency money laundering. Before that he served as a state trooper in the New York State Police for eight years, providing full police services to the local community.
